Seasons Greetings

It is that time of year when the contracting industry shuts down for the festive seasonand my initial thoughts are what is going to happen to the lights in buildings yet to be commissioned. Either, they will leave them burning 24/7 or shut the power off. That brings another thought, I know of a number of construction projects that during their construction let the lights burn day and night even when empty, the choice is to turn the power off forcing the emergency lights onto battery that in turn ages the lamps forcing a re-lamp prior to completion. With KNX simple, temporary control can be implemented quite easily to dramatically to reduce the carbon footprint of a project and be highly visible. Seasons greetings to all
