It was a night for us to remember, after being shortlisted just a few weeks before it was off to the Borough Hall for the evening along with Hartlepools best. The wine flowed (courtesy of UK Steel), the food was excellent (thanks to Cleveland Caterers). The life expectancy of any electronic component can be difficult to calculate. HF ballasts in commercial light control installations are no exception. The lifetime is determined by all of the components used and the amount of stress (voltage, current and temperature) on each of these components. It can also be safely assumed that the first point of failure equals the ballast failure.

We have probably all witnessed how BREEAM has gained in publicity and reputation but not so may of us will have noticed what is built does not always match what was approved.

Well first it was a long haul but finally it has come to fruition. Our goal was to make the ultimate Lighting Control Module. We chose KNX as the protocol as it is the worlds only standard applicable. We then added all the functionality that could be required ensuring nothing was missed.
