The DLC100 Light Control Module with Daylight Harvesting is a low cost, intelligent lighting control module (LCM) designed for commercial lighting applications, which dramatically reduces energy consumption and carbon footprint by utilising natural light, presence detection and absence detection to automatically switch off lighting when not needed.

The DLC100 is 'self configuring' with easy to set-up parameters via an intelligent configuration interface  that reduces costly commissioning time and is easily configured by installing electricians and does not need third party, skilled (and expensive) commissioning engineers.

Daylight Harvesting

Daylight Harvesting can dramatically reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint by using PIR presence detectors to recognise when a space is occupied  (and unoccupied). When natural light entering the space from windows reaches a comfortable, configurable Lux level, the DLC100 Light Control Module with Daylight Harvesting will switch off the artificial light, switching it back on when the natural light drops below the configured level.

This saves energy and reduces carbon footprint while maintaining a comfortable working environment.

Presence Detection

The DLC100 Light Control Module with Daylight Harvesting also uses PIR presence detectors to automatically switch on the lights when an area becomes occupied and automatically switch them off again when the area becomes unoccupied. No switches are needed and this technique is ideal for large, open plan areas, corridors etc.

Absence Detection

Utilising a conventional wall switch working in conjunction with presence detectors the DLC100 Light Control Module with Daylight Harvesting can turn lights on and off as normal, but the presence detector will always ensure the light is never left on once the area is vacated. Great for offices and conference rooms.

Using AC power in (110V—250VAC) and Wieland plug-in connectors for simple installation The DLC100 Light Control Module with Daylight Harvesting is a single product to create individually tailored installations without the complications of a typical Lighting Control Scheme. Emergency Test

When a building's emergency lights are supported by an internal battery the charging circuit needs a dedicated AC power supply. This is provided as standard on all outputs eliminating the need for a seperate circuit, reducing installation and infrastructure costs.

To comply with statutary testing, the DLC100 Light Control Module with Daylight Harvesting has the internal test function as standard allowing individual DLC100 modules or large groups of linked DLC100 modules to be tested simultaneously using a single key switch, simulating a power cut.

Corridor Linking

Each DLC100 Light Control Module with Daylight Harvesting contains two status outputs for simple patching to the sensor inputs of a secondary DLC100 module creating a 'corridor hold'. If any light is on in a selected area then the corridor lights will also be on. Ideal for virtual corridors in open plan offices, so an occupant isn't left in an 'island of light' in an otherwise dark floor, and have a comforting corridor of light from their workstation to the exit.

Wieland GESIS modular wiring

Using the Wieland GESIS wiring system dramatically reduce installations costs. The GESIS system not only provides control, but also distributes AC power around the building. Simply plug in the DLC100 Light Control Module with Daylight Harvesting to the GESIS cable, and then connect lights using pre-made leads and connectors, it's that simple.
